The Business Need

The client is a landlord in the luxury retail sector. The new CIO had multiple Salesforce implementations and wanted an evaluation completed as soon as possible. The output needed to consist of both tactical and strategic solutions based on customer and brand journeys. The longer term view was that if sufficient value, and solutions, could be delivered into business, the platform would become one of the technology pillars, focused on delivering key business processes underlined by the company value drivers.

Consultancy Engagement

Between Feb 2015 and Sep 2018 Damian joined the tech Exec team to provide expertise in leading a Salesforce transformation programme at Value Retail PLC to design, deliver and support solutions for Group Marketing, Tourism, Retail and Leading functions.

 

Achievement included:

 

  • Delivering a project to improve and speed up the process of capturing information contained within the brands weekly sales report, enabling it to be collated, and published, through a portal on a daily basis to enable new support sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Re-development and successful launch an existing Group Leasing function to centralise and automate their brand onboarding process.

  • Digitally transforming the hands free shopping service at Bicester village by offering seamless registration, payment and delivery. This greatly increased the existing guest experience – through a greater efficiency of the service – resulting in higher service volumes, and increasing profit from £2m in 2017 to £2.6m in 2018.
