Enterprise-class cloud infrastructure transformation

Case Study

The Business Need

The client specialised in delivering and managing outsourced services in the central and local government, airports and the private sector. This meant uptime and service continuity was critical to their operation. The infrastructure and data hosting contract with their existing partner had ended and the client was looking for a change. A proposal had been submitted and accepted to move their IT infrastructure and telephony from a traditional data hosting environment to the cloud.

The core challenge involved was to find partners and a solution with minimal capital investment. The operating costs too had to be kept minimum and realised savings where possible. In addition the client wanted the migration completed within a very aggressive timescale to meet their own business and contractual deadlines.
